LG has opened up its box to unveil two clamshell designed phones at CTIA 2007. VX-8700 a slim phone extends the LG’s Shine family of phones. The phone weighs just 107 grams and gives a brushed metal exterior look. VX8700 features a 320×240 pixel LCD display, a flattened keyboard, integrated speakerphone, MP3 player, 2 mega-pixel camera, a microSD slot to expand its capacity and, EV-DO high-speed standard for the data transfer. LG 570 is a music based phone. Sporting a 220×170 pixels 2.25-inch LCD display, LG 570 supports the CDMA and EV0DI standards. It features a 1.3 mega-pixel camera, a touch-sensitive exterior music controller D-pad, integrated antenna, stereo Bluetooth and an FM transmitter and radio. LG 570’S music player plays most formats stored in a microSD slot for storage.
