THE Asus P535 is the successor to the company‘s P525. The Asus P535 is an all touch device packing in some powerful PDA features, but is let down by the absence of some connectivity options and a maples GPS. It does not exactly look sleek either in the tradition of the HTC Touch. This device runs on the Windows Mobile 6 (professional) platform and comes bundled with office software. The only time it slows down is when you switch to camera mode. The picture quality of the 2.0 mega pixel camera does compensate for this eccentricity, though. Sound quality of this smart phone is pretty good, so one can use this as an MP3 player of need be. There is also a phone holder in the package – a sort of stand on which you can place the device when you are driving or even to keep on your desk. The ASUS P535 comes with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, both EDGE and 3G are conspicuous by their absence. Battery life was about average for touchscreen devices – a day and a half of usage necessitated a recharge. This phone has 256MB ROM and 64MB SDRAM. Its phonebook capacity is unlimited. There is no support for 3G. This is almost totally touchscreen driven device with a large 2.8 inch display. It is a marvelous touch screen phone so just enjoy it.
