Grundig B700 wads LinuxGrundig has recently announced its Grundig B700, calculator shaped cell phone. It is very sleek with just ten-millimeter thin frame. Various features of this Linux powered cell phone are 2.4-inch 320 x 240 resolution display, MP3 / AAC / video playback, two-megapixel CMOS camera, 2.5-hours of minimum talk time (150+ hours on standby), built-in FM tuner, EDGE / GSM quad-band connectivity, USB, Bluetooth, 100MB of internal storage, and a microSD slot for loading up any excess media. Not to forget, this calci type cell phone has a standard QWERTY keyboard and runs a program named SureType. It also allows a voice recorder, POP3 email push client and, handsfree speaker. With the animated wallpapers feature it appears more attractive. Whatever the mobile offers, it is not expected to get good reviews. There is no word on the price or availability yet. Wait till Grundig actually launches B700 in the market.
