Here are a few tips to make your cell battery last longer. I have tried them and they really work:
* If your cell phone has a power save function, keep it switched on at all times.
* Vibration mode eats up your battery, so it is advisable to use only ring tone. Yes, in Cinema Halls or places where phone is to be kept silent, use vibrating profile.
* Turn off your mobile phone while sleeping or when not in use.
* Disable Bluetooth when not in use.
* Disable sounds like keypad tones.
* Lower the brightness of the screen.
* Set the Light time-out to lower value.
* Play less on mobiles. I know everyone is hungry to play games. But do not overdo it.
* Turn off back light or shorten the amount of back light on time.
* Perform “conditioning†of your cell phone if your cell phone does not have a Lithium Ion battery. It can be done by allowing your cell phone battery to get completely discharged and then take up charge again. This is the best way to escape premature shortening of a battery’s life.
* Leave the battery of your cell phone to charge for a couple of hours; don’t always believe what the phone says.
